Ultimate Sevens started on the club rugby pitches of Southeast England. It was born in the grassroots of the game. The Ultimate Rugby Sevens Academy wanted to do things differently, using the sport of rugby sevens to offer young, aspiring rugby players a different way to develop their skills both on and off the field. Indeed, rugby sevens gave young players the chance to express themselves, learn how to execute under intense pressure and build relationships with new teammates that they didn’t play with at club or school. It reframed rugby. Blue skies, good times and high fives. That is what sevens represents.

It’s rugby, but it’s cool.

Now, the Ultimate Sevens Championship is bringing that to the elite level of the game. Harnessing the athletic prowess of the World’s best rugby sevens players, the unique jeopardy of rugby sevens competition, the fervour of rugby sevens festivals and the intensity created by the sports non-stop, creative gameplay.

Its rugby sevens. It’s 3 hours of the best bits. It’s a new light on the sport.
